I believe Dr Abawi is a great doctor. If it was not for him I believe I would have died.

i saw dr abawi at the rudd clinic. i found him to be very professional, efficient and pleasant. i think the previous comments are rubbish, and that you should not accept anonymous comments

I went to Dr. Abawi to have a double hernia repaired through laproscopic surgery. I should have trusted my gut feeling after meeting him the first time and not let him do it. He was 3 hours late for my surgery that I was already nervous about and was nowhere to be found once I woke up. The nurses did pretty much everything. After my surgery I knew it wasn't fixed properly because my intestines were still poking through and I could push them back in. When I went back to see him a week later he put his finger up my scrotum and said "no you don't have a hernia any more" and completely dismissed me like I was stupid. Now almost 3 years later I am afraid to go to any doctor to have it repaired because I have lost all trust. I would love to sue this doctor for the time I have missed work and my degraded lifestyle. The kids have to be careful around that area, I can't work out properly because it aggrevates the area and I can't do karate for fear of getting kicked in that area.

I would like to second that. I actually go and see a new surgeon today. I should have saved myself all the heartache and just visited this fabulous doctor in the first place!!

This doctor is an absolute joke. He was taken away in handcuffs and I hope that is where he remains. Here's to hoping that he never practices medicine again!
