I have been seeing Dr. Fishman for ten years and he is the most caring doctor I have ever come across. When I was admitted to the hospital once he visited me everyday and the nurses all loved him. I wouldn't see anyone else bottom line.

stay clear of this guy. I know more than one person that's been misdiagnosed by him. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION.

I am unsure on how to rate Dr. Fishman. I had about a 30 min meeting with him and found him to be friendly, attentive and engaged in my health issue. This appointment was to rule out gastro issues contributing to an undiagnosed illness that has turned my life upside down about a year ago. Unfortunately Dr. Fishman took the liberty to make a comment that my illness may be "non organic" in his report. If he had bothered asking me I could have shown him a full psychiatric report (in my favor) required by my insurance company. I am a well adjusted professional and did nothing in the meeting that I could see leading him in that direction!?! I really didn't need a cast of doubt from a 30 min meeting from a physician who isn't qualified or requested to evaluate my psychological status. Being ill without a diagnosis is difficult enough with out this type underhanded opinion. I just did not find this behavior very professional. That said I am sure he is knowledgeable in his field.

Dr Fishman, is extremely professional, very calm, full of love and therapy. He has been my wife's specialist doctors and has done a wonderful job in treatment and maintenance for crohn's disease. Thank you Doctor..God bless you always..
